How is CGPA Calculated from SGPA?
CGPA is the credit-weighted average of all semester SGPAs. The official formula is:
SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) is the GPA for a single semester. CGPA (Cumulative GPA) is the weighted average across all completed semesters. CGPA gives a complete picture of your overall academic performance.
Most B.Tech/B.E. programs have 20โ24 credits per semester. Check your marksheet or grade card for exact credit values. If all semesters have equal credits, you can enter the same value for each.
