CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is a grading system used by most Indian universities under UGC guidelines. It represents your overall academic performance on a 10-point scale. When applying for jobs, higher studies, or government exams, you often need to convert CGPA to percentage.
Percentage = CGPA ร 9.5
For example, if your CGPA is 8.0, your percentage = 8.0 ร 9.5 = 76%. This formula is officially recommended by UGC and followed by CBSE, most central and state universities.
